Journey Inn was renovated from a private residence into a contemporary bed and breakfast in 1996 and the current owners have continued to operate as a successful lodging business during their 10 years of ownership. The entire property is lush and landscaped with an in-ground irrigation system that keeps the seasonal gardens blooming. The guest experience at the Inn includes a full individually plated breakfast and concierge services. One of Journey Inn’s seven guest rooms is on the first floor off of the foyer while the six others are on the second floor. The 5 guest rooms and 2 guest suites vary in size and layout and each has a unique theme inspired by world travel and regional history.
The inn offers seven guest rooms on two floors, an elegant and spacious guest living room with fireplace, guest sitting room with fireplace, butler’s pantry and dining room. The owners’ ground floor living quarters have a private outside entrance and include a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and living room adjacent to the large eat-in kitchen, which features a commercial range with ample storage & work space, providing a comfortable degree of separation and privacy for the owners.
