As with all our team, this position is unique in that candidates need to be able to excel in all aspects of running a small inn. We are seeking an outgoing, hardworking, flexible, and upbeat person. Maskenozha Rod and Gun Club, has a unique business opportunity for a couple to run the Club’s hospitality service business, lodge, and grounds care.   Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains in Northeastern Pennsylvania, our club has over a hundred year history of hunting, fishing and outdoor activities with a strong dedication to conservation. Est. 1901 we are seeking a couple to care for its 1250 acre property.  The 13 bedroom lodge is situated facing a private 350 acre lake with a private Caretaker’s home attached.   The couple will be responsible for caring for the lodge, preparing meals for members and guests, housekeeping, grounds keeping around the lodge and in the woods when required, and general maintenance as needed. A Lodge Manager is needed in the Mad River Valley, VT. A lodging management background is not required. Housing is included, plus options to increase your income. This position has few typical innkeeper responsibilities. Guests book online or through a call center. They are texted instructions and their door code with no check-in or out. The primary responsibility is making sure the property and rooms are ready, that problems are handled quickly and well, and that you are the outgoing hospitality face of the Lodge. All 26 guest rooms offer one to two beds, a bathroom, and no kitchen. Base compensation is $25,000 per year plus all tips; you can augment income by participating in housekeeping at $12 per room, potential income can be $40,000 to $50,000 or more, not counting tips. Owners are actively involved in maintaining its high level of excellence and seek a qualified team of two to act as Inn Managers. Must meet objectives set for guest satisfaction, financial results, human resources (motivation, training, etc.), facility maintenance, and government regulations by following established controls, SOPs, policies, and ensuring full compliance. Establish additional controls, SOP’s, policies as needed working closely with owners. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of key measurements with owners. Plan and organize the work for all areas of the operation including: housekeeping, innkeeping (guest services), food service, sales, maintenance; keeping to budgeted profitability levels. Position Filled. Assistant Innkeeper/Manager – Dockside Guest Quarters,York, Maine. Join us in operating our 25 room inn on beautiful York Harbor, Maine. Owned and operated by the Lusty family for over 60 years. The facility includes a restaurant, Deck Bar and marina. The Innkeepers are looking to reduce their day-to-day responsibilities and seek an assistant to help in all facets of the business. This is a year-round position even though we are a seasonal business.  Responsibilities will vary with the time of year.  Be a part of the whole operation with seasonal opening and closing, daily operations, winter projects and marketing. Position Filled. On-premise Innkeeper & Chef Couple needed for a unique Inn/B&B property in the Jackson-Wilson area, WY. The location is near the Snake River at the base of the Grand Tetons, with year-round outdoor activities. The couple must have experience living in a mountain destination. REQUIREMENTS: One must be an experienced B&B innkeeper with at least four years managing at least eight rooms and three team members. The other must be a professional, upscale, trained, farm-to-table chef. Both must be outgoing, polished, live an active outdoor lifestyle, embrace green ethics, and can handle very high occupancy. Event management experience is essential. The highlight of your day should be thanks from guests for the adventure guidance you provided. BENEFITS: Salary of $95,000 to $100,000 for the couple from a base of $75K plus event income of $20-25K, 1.5 days off per week, a one-bedroom apartment, and a month off during shoulder seasons.

Sales acumen a must. Attention to detail; outgoing, polished demeanor; and passion for stellar guest service essential. This is a unique position requiring minimum five years recent experience in both food and beverage with either a hotel or full-service boutique lodging property, and comfort with being part of a larger firm. Inn is owned by Chicago-based luxury interior design firm Soucie Horner, Ltd.; General Manager will function as onsite face of the company’s hospitality division and will have the opportunity to become a member of the company’s Business Leadership Team.
